  1. I am originally from Wilmington, NC and have in the past supported the Marines by sending care packages to deployed Marines. I am now in school in SC and doing some student teaching. The class I am teaching has recently learned about the Marines and would like to write letters and send a care package to deployed Marines as a community service project. Who do I need to contact in order to make this happen for my students?

    Thanks,

    Jess

  2. How can I email/contact or get the contact info. Of the Raleigh, NC office? This is for a community service project involving the Capital City Young Marines and refurbishing the old, rusty flag pole that I never even see a flag on anymore on both, the Marine offices flagpole, and down the street where the Naval Recruiting Center is. We as some of the Young Marines will perform the work and if I can get some money raised up, we can probably present both with new Colors. I’m interested in serving the community, and speaking with a recruiter about private things. Please respond and email me if you have any ideas.

  3. The sergeant who presented awards at the Patton High School awards ceremony in Morganton, NC tonight ( 6/7/12) was an embarrassment to the Corps. He was up on the stage chomping on gum the whole time he was presenting. He left a lasting impression as folks talked about it afterwards and a few came up to me and asked what I thought since I am a Marine Veteran. Nice.

  4. This whole past school year I have had to endure a NC National Guard desk calendar because the Marines never came through despite lots of promises from lots of folks. How do I make sure I get some USMC desk calendars this year?????

    1. Sir,
I am a Marine stationed in Camp Lejeune and if you send me your address, i will personally take care of your request and send you a REAL calendar. Sgt’s take care of their Marines, even if they were on the “Dark Side”.

      Semper Fidelis Warrior,

      Sgt John R Witczak
