Which is the closest location to Gulfbank and W.Hardy?

  2. Charles Gavin says:

Is this station in charge of the recruiters in Nacogdoches, TX? If not, to whom do they answer.

My son is being harassed by Marine recruiters on the high school campus and we have gotten a phone call at 8:30 on a Saturday morning. When I tried to inform the recruiter we did not appreciate calls that early on a Saturday morning, he escalated the conversation to a point where he threatened me.

I am a Vietnam era Army veteran. My father served in WWII. My father-in-law is a retired Army Colonel (Chaplain/Ranger); two of his sons are retired officers and West Point graduates. I appreciate the military and do have a small idea of military life.

My son has quite high standardized test scores and can attend any college he chooses. Graduates of both the West Point and the Naval Academy in this area have offered to nominate and sponsor him for either institution. Our family has discussed this and he is simply not interested in a military career.

How do we get these Marine recruiters in Nacogdoches to stop harassing my son and our family?

    Respectfully

How hard is it to get RS Houston or any RS in Texas? I’m putting my recruiting package and I have been told by Marines that getting Texas as your RS is difficult. Is this true?

  4. Mario says:

Currently live in Columbus texas but can drive to memorial to speak to a recruiter i need be! Thinking of enlisting im 90% sure would just need more information on becoming a marine! Also would like to know if theirs any way to enlist for the first time as an E3 or E 4? Dont know much but would like to!

I am currently enlisted as a 0313. My EAS is september 1 of this year. i have a dui and have been propely punished for my actions. im hearing that if u have a NJP you wont be allowed to re-enlist. i want to reenlist but as a different mos. A non deployable mos. i served one combat deployment to afghanistan and im in the middle of my second. its hard to get around to the carrer planner out here. what are some non deployable mos’s and do you think ill be able to re enlist?

    • Marine Admin Chief says:

There is no such thing as a Non-Deployable MOS. You have Non-Deployable Units, and you have MOS’s that dont deploy as much as others. IE picking up a B-Billet you wont Deploy, being Admin you can hit up a lot of I&I stations that dont deploy. Now when it comes down to reenlisting thats going to be a tough one.

  6. Buck Snyder says:

    Marines,
We are a Veterans Motorcycle Association made up entirely of Marines, our spouses and Navy Corpsmen who served with Marines. See the website above to check us out. We are also a 503c charitable organization. Part of our mission is to help take care of our own. We support a number of veteran’s causes and organizations. As Marines, we are always looking for ways to help out our own local Marines. This is where we would like your help. As recruiters, you may have some inside scuttlebutt.
If you hear of any Marines or families of a Marine that need some help, please let us know. Feel free to pass along my contact info or send us the contact info of the person we need to get in touch with.
    Thanks Brothers, Semper Fi!
