The 12th Marine Corps Recruiting District is one of 6 USMC recruiting districts across the nation. Like the other district, the 12th USMC recruit district falls under the jurisdiction of the Marine Corps Recruiting Command, responsible for recruiting civilians for the Corps. The 12th covers much of the Western United States including Alaska and Hawaii. It’s headquarters are at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, the boot camp grounds of most recruits west of the Mississippi.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am currently of age and I am hoping to find a Marine recruiter near Okinawa, Japan. The description states that this division does conduct recruitment in Hawaii but it only has links for state side Recruit Stations. I was wondering how I could find a recruiter. I am a U.S. Citizen.
Respectfully,

Who it may concern,
I am currently 15 years old, I am interested in the possibility of becoming an officer in the USMC, my mom and dad are not that thrilled with my decision, if you could have an OSO or just a Marine Recruiter get in contact with my family and I, so that the expectations of what it takes to be an officer in the USMC. Also so that the process that happens may be explained to me and my parents. That would be highly appreciated
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am currently writing a novel in which my hero is an 18-year-old man who enlists in the Marines. I have researched USMC websites to understand the process, but I would really like first-hand knowledge of the experience. Would love to sit down with a Marine and talk. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
